The Vertrex Max can be fished in a similar way to a slow pitch jig. The best technique is to drop them to the bottom and then use 3-10 slow lifts with a short pause off the bottom to get it vibrating on the lift and then as it glides back down on the drop it will often get hit. They can be worked fast or slow, but the Vertrex Max is has huge vibration at slow speeds making it highly effective for this technique.
