The Daiwa Spartan SJ Rod expands Daiwa’s proven Spartan offshore range with specialist slow jigging models designed for serious anglers chasing hard-fighting Australian sportfish. Built without compromise, the Spartan SJ series combines cutting-edge blank technology with premium components to deliver exceptional performance under load.

At the core of the rod is a HVF Nanoplus graphite blank, delivering increased strength and reduced weight through advanced nano resin control. This is reinforced with X45X Full Shield technology, providing increased torsional stiffness to reduce blank twist during jigging and heavy load situations, allowing more power to be transferred directly to the fish.

The lower section of the blank features Daiwa’s patented 3DX carbon weave, significantly boosting bottom-end power and lifting strength—perfect for pulling stubborn reef fish away from structure while maintaining rod stability and shape.
