The Last Ace 168, developed in collaboration with JB TOP50 Pro Mr. Ken Fukushima, is the culmination of his pursuit for a softer, more realistic soft jerkbait. Traditional soft jerkbaits often rely on offset hooks, resulting in limited flexibility in the upper body, but Fukushima's innovative 'line-through system plus treble hook' design overcomes this challenge. The result is an ultra-thin body that bends fluidly from head to tail, perfectly emulating the natural movements of a baitfish. The lure's lifelike action is unmistakably evident in the video demonstration.

Typically, achieving a fish-like shimmer in a soft-plastic involves inserting aluminum foil inside the its body. However, this method compromises the softness of the body, an aspect Mr. Fukushima was not willing to sacrifice. Instead, he achieved the desired shimmer by first applying color paint followed by a glossy coating, as shown in the video. This method may be costlier, but the aim was clear: 'Create something that catches more fish, regardless of the cost.' Mr. Fukushima's and Evergreen's passion is evident in this pursuit.
