It also has Shimano’s high performance E.I. surface treatment to protect against corrosion. Internally the stainless steel gearing is supported by 4 Shielded S A-RB Bearings, which resist corrosion and ensure smooth performance, even at the highest speeds or under extreme pressure. The powerful drag is operated by the easy to operate drag leaver, which ratchets securely in place and as an extra bonus a spare drag lever, which produces a less aggressive drag curve for optimal use with monofilament lines, when fishing for pelagic species, is also included.
