Daiwa 23 Commander Rods

Daiwa 23 TD Commander Rods

The Daiwa 23 TD Commander range brings technique-focused spin and baitcast options to Australian lure fishing. SVF Nanoplus blanks, X45X Full Shield construction and a premium guide package underpin a range spanning ultra-light presentations through to heavy swimbaits.

Choose your Commander around the lures you actually fish. A rod that loads with a small hardbody is a different tool from one designed around heavier plastics or swimbaits. Start with reel type and total rigged lure weight, then compare length, taper and line rating.

Before you choose

Use the full model code to match your selected option with its specifications. Spin and baitcast configurations need different reel types; a shared lure-weight range does not make their setups interchangeable.

Line ratings are not recommended drag settings. Match working drag to the rod, line, knots and leader, and choose the rod around your intended technique as well as its casting bracket. Tell us your reel and usual lures if you'd like help narrowing the choice.
