The Daiwa 23 Infeet S series has been completely overhauled to deliver a more refined, lightweight and technique-focused finesse rod range for Australian estuary and light tackle anglers. Positioned as the entry point into Daiwa’s highly respected Infeet family, the latest Infeet S lineup introduces significant upgrades in blank construction, ergonomics and overall rod performance while maintaining outstanding value for everyday lure anglers.
Developed specifically around Australian finesse fishing techniques and local target species, the 23 Infeet S range comfortably handles a wide variety of modern lure fishing applications including soft plastics, hardbodies, finesse topwater presentations and light reaction-style lures.
At the core of the range is Daiwa’s upgraded HVF Nanoplus graphite blank construction. By incorporating advanced Nanoplus resin technology into the blank manufacturing process, Daiwa has produced rods that are noticeably lighter, stronger and more responsive than previous generations. Some models weigh barely over 70 grams, creating an exceptionally lightweight and balanced feel in the hand during long casting sessions.
Further enhancing overall rod performance is Daiwa’s X45 blank technology. Using a precision 45-degree carbon bias wrap construction, X45 dramatically reduces blank twist during casting and under load, improving casting accuracy, blank recovery and overall lure responsiveness. The result is a crisp and highly controlled rod action ideally suited to technical finesse fishing.
A major upgrade for the 23 Infeet S range is the inclusion of Daiwa’s AIRSENSOR reel seat system, previously reserved for higher-end Infeet EX models.
