Daiwa 23 TD Black Rods

Daiwa 23 TD Black Rods

The Daiwa 23 TD Black range covers 36 spin, baitcast and swimbait options for Australian lure fishing. HVF Nanoplus blanks, X45X Full Shield construction, Fuji Alconite guides and AIRSENSOR reel seats combine with model-specific tapers and ratings to cover everything from tiny lures to large swimbaits.

Start with the total weight of your usual lures and your reel type. Then compare length, taper and line rating. A shorter rod can suit confined casting spaces, while a longer option may better suit your casting approach where there is room to use it.

Before you choose

Match the full model code with its spin, baitcast or swimbait configuration. Check lure weight, line rating, taper, length and transport requirements together rather than relying on a model name.

A line rating is not a recommended drag setting. Set working drag to suit your rod, line, knots and leader. If you're choosing between models, tell us your reel and the lures you fish most often so we can help narrow the choice.
