Product Description
The Legendary Bream Buster BRAWLER is now available in the production line-up!
This rod is tuned for casting smaller lures – either soft plastic or hard-bodied – for big fish in gnarly structure situations. It’s the perfect length, action and power for combining casting accuracy with fish extraction on heavier than usual lines.
With ultra-light tip action, and a positive action that unleashes the ‘down’low’ fighting power, this blank is perfectly tuned to fish soft plastics applications including unweighted, hidden-weight and up to 1/4oz jighead rigged plastics. It’s also ideal for slow rolling or twitching surface and diving hard bodied lures amongst the structure.
The Brawler performs best with braid lines with mono leaders*, as well as ‘straight-through’ monofilament lines of either FC or nylon. The KR guide train is a composite selection of Fuji’s titanium frames for corrosion resistance in semi-micro sizes. Ceramics are Fuji’s very latest ‘SlimRing’ SiC guides finished with a titanium-Torzite deramic tip-top to maximise performance.
The Brawler incorporates Ian’s ‘Bream Buster’ style handles, comprising Fuji VSS reel seat with a custom carbon locking hood, and custom shaped x-firm blue Camoufish EVA, all finished with the ‘M’ logo anti-skid butt cap. This handle gives the angler a more positive grip for going hard on big fish!
Millerods recommends the use of the FG knot for connecting braided fishing lines to monofilament leaders. All Ian’s lure casting guide trains are selected with this connecting knot in mind.
