Product Description
The blank is constructed from a custom blend of hi-modulus graphites designed specifically for this model. The result is a light weight, super-sensitive and well balanced rod that is a pleasure to fish for even long sessions with this size lure.
The longer 7’8” length means obtaining good casting distance is easy, which is a pre-requisite when fishing shallow flats.
The multi-guide train Fuji Fazlite KR guides in sizes down to #5 runs true and easy, further enhancing the overall smoothness of this rod performance. The sizing is the ideal combination of lightness and leader knot clearance.
The skeleton handle utilizes a Fuji TVS seat for comfort and securely locking in the reel. The seat height is super comfortable for easy casting, and the butt grip is a long, custom-shaped x-firm EVA in the Millerods signature style blue Camoufish pattern. This is all finished with the ‘M’ logo anti-skid butt cap.
The 2pc blank construction with removable handle means that transport and storage is now extremely easy.
Millerods recommends the use of the FG knot for connecting braided fishing lines to monofilament leaders. All Ian’s lure casting guide trains are selected with this connecting knot in mind.
