The Penn Prevail II range is designed around rock, beach and breakwall fishing, combining SLS3 graphite blank construction, an outer Carbon Shield layer and Fuji Alconite K Frame guides. Options in this listing include spin, overhead, travel and a dedicated drone model.

Shorter spin: 842SPM

• 842SPM 6–10kg: Two pieces, 8ft4in, with a 15–65g lure range. A versatile shorter beach and rock fishing option suited to Australian Salmon, Tailor, Bonito, Flathead and smaller Mulloway. Well suited to casting metal lures, soft plastics and hardbodies from beaches, rocks and headlands.

9ft and 9ft6in heavier spin options

• 902SPH PE3–5: Two pieces, 9ft, with a listed maximum lure weight of 250g. A powerful land-based spin option suited to Kingfish, Longtail Tuna, Spanish Mackerel and other hard-fighting pelagic species. • 1463SPMH 10–25kg: 14ft6in, three-piece construction. Suited to Mulloway, Sharks, Australian Salmon and Tailor, with the heavier line rating making it worth considering for larger surf species. The extra length may assist with line clearance and fishing beyond breaking waves.

Overhead options
