The Shimano 25 Tiagra Hyper Game Fishing Rod Range has been engineered for serious offshore anglers who demand uncompromising performance when targeting large pelagic game fish.
Covering everything from 10kg stand-up tackle through to dedicated 60kg chair rods and specialist swordfish models, the Tiagra Hyper range offers a purpose-built solution for virtually every bluewater game fishing scenario. Whether you're trolling for striped marlin, live baiting for yellowfin tuna or setting deep baits for broadbill swordfish, these rods are designed to perform under extreme pressure.
At the core of the range is Shimano's advanced X5 blank construction. Built with a reduced blank diameter while increasing torsional rigidity and resistance to overloading, the X5 design creates rods that feel lighter in the hand yet remain incredibly powerful under load. The result is improved lifting power, greater fighting efficiency and enhanced durability during prolonged battles with large fish.
Premium game fishing componentry is fitted throughout the range. Most models feature heavy-duty AFTCO roller guides and oversized roller tips that minimise friction and improve line management under heavy drag pressures.
