With Shimano’s first-ever two-speed system, it can retrieve line at an incredible 215 metres per minute in Speed Mode, while Power Mode delivers a sustained 25kg winding force—even outperforming larger electric reels like the Beastmaster 9000 in practical lifting power. Built around a rigid HAGANE body, reinforced gearing and a powerful 25kg max drag system, it has the durability and muscle to confidently handle hard-fighting reef species and deep-water conditions.

Matched with the Shimano Status Bluewater 30–50lb Light Deep Drop rod, this setup is purpose-built for electric fishing, offering the perfect blend of backbone and comfort. The tough E-Glass construction provides serious lifting strength, while the ergonomic EVA butt ensures control and comfort during long sessions in the rod holder.

Spooled with 400m of 50lb PENN Slammer Braid, featuring high-visibility colour changes and depth markers every 5–10 metres, anglers can track depth with precision and stay dialled into the strike zone at all times.

Importantly, this combo also includes the Wilson 5Ah Reel Battery Kit, giving you a completely portable, plug-free power system. This is a major advantage offshore—no cords, no boat power reliance, and no limitations on where you can fish. The lightweight lithium battery delivers consistent voltage for smooth reel performance, allowing the Beastmaster to run at full efficiency all day while keeping the setup clean, simple and easy to manage on the boat.

For the first time, Shimano introduces a two-speed system. In speed mode, it achieves a maximum winding speed of 215 meters per minute, matching the performance of the Beastmaster 3000XS. In power mode, it delivers a sustained winding force of 25 kg, surpassing the Beastmaster 9000. The combination of a robust HAGANE body and reinforced gear system supports a maximum drag force of 25 kg, providing the durability needed for hard fights with large fish such as groupers and amberjacks up to 20 kg. With speed, strength, and reliability to handle a wide range of species, this flagship model breaks through the limits of the 3000 series.
This product does not include a lithium battery.
To maximise reel performance, we recommend using a high-capacity battery (Shimano BT Master 11AH).
