Engineered and manufactured in Japan, this reel represents Shimano’s commitment to precision and reliability in extreme fishing conditions.
The latest TwinPower SW incorporates Infinity Drive technology, reducing handle rotation torque by up to 30% compared to previous models. This results in smoother, more powerful winding under load, giving anglers greater control when fighting strong fish.
For added performance during prolonged battles, selected sizes (10000 and 14000) feature Shimano’s Heat Sink Drag system. This technology reduces heat transfer to the drag washers and line, maintaining consistent drag performance and protecting line integrity when under heavy pressure.
The reel is built with Shimano’s advanced X-Protect sealing system, combined with a labyrinth structure that repels water intrusion. This significantly improves durability, with the line roller and clutch assembly designed to be up to ten times more durable according to Shimano’s internal testing.
Finished in a striking silver and blue design, the TwinPower SW is complemented by a polished metal handle and power knob, providing both strength and a premium feel in hand.
