Product Description
Catana 2500HGFE
The Catana has been revamped with a new body design and cosmetic. This reel is designed for anglers who are looking for a high-quality reel at a reasonable cost. There are four reels in the re-launched Catana range, from 1000 to 4000 sizes. The 2500, C3000, and 4000 sizes have a high gear retrieve ratio from 5.8 to 6.2:1 thanks to the presence of zinc DC gears. Perfect for freshwater, estuary and light offshore applications, the larger reels can produce up to 8.5kg of drag power. The Catana FE also features Shimano's G-Free Body and Propulsion Line Management System for all-day comfort and trouble-free casting. They come with an additional ball bearing taking it to 3+1, so it’s smooth sailing all the way with these value packed reels.
Shimano Raider Rod 7'2 2pc 1-4kg
The iconic Raider series – Shimano's most comprehensive rod range – has continuously lifted the benchmark for performance and value. The latest line-up has been upgraded to 30T graphite blanks for improved strength and a responsive, lightweight, and crisp feel. Additionally, the guides have been upgraded to Fuji's single-foot FazLite K guides for further weight reduction and responsiveness. The Raider range is fitted with custom Shimano reel seats, a mix of split and full-length custom cork grips and eye-catching cosmetics.
Shimano Kairiki 6lb 150m
Re-introducing Kairiki 8 from Shimano, now adopting new "VT construction method" braiding technology and now available in this handy 150 metre line length. Featuring 8 carriers and incorporating premium Japanese manufacturing, the new tight weave VT construction is created through applying high tension at opposing directions during the braiding process.
In the VT Construction Method, fibre is weaved evenly at all angles - resulting in a smoother finish, reduced diameter and a long cast. Additionally the smooth finish creates less friction through the guides, minimising cast noise and aids to a stealthier approach. The tight weave achieves enhanced sensitivity, resulting in low stretch.
These attributes make Kairiki 8 an excellent choice for finesse fishing, casting lures and tying knots where smoothness, sensitivity and castability are all required to give that extra edge against your next encounter.
