The new range incorporates top tier Shimano technologies such as X-Protect, X-Ship, Hagane Body and Hagane gear into its lightweight compact body. The newly designed compact body has been engineered to reduce the weight across the entire series, improving the reels handling and balance. Drawing upon the Stella SWC, Infinity Drive is included and provides improved pinion gear support which translates to greater and smoother cranking power. The X-Protect water resistance system improves the line roller durability to an IPX8 standard. Built for big fish in extreme conditions, the Saragosa SWA will continue to push the boundaries.

Hot Tackle worked closely with the experts at Shimano Australia during the development of this epic series of rods, going back and forth with their team until we perfected the actions of each model. The range covers all manners of offshore fishing whether it's slow pitch jigging, conventional jigging, stickbaiting/popping, rock/beach or just general spinning, all bases are covered. Shimano Kairiki 50lb 300m - Green

Kairiki 8 from Shimano adopts the new VT construction braiding technology. Featuring 8 carriers and incorporating premium Japanese manufacturing, the new tight weave VT construction is created through applying high tension at opposing directions during the braiding process. During the VT Construction Method, the braid fibre is woven evenly at all angles – resulting in a smoother finish and reduced diameter. The casting performance of the line is significantly improved as the smooth finish creates less friction through the guides and cast noise is also reduced. The tight weave achieves enhanced sensitivity achieved through the lower stretch. These attributes make Kairiki 8 an excellent choice when high sensitivity and castability are all required to give that extra edge against your target species.
