The new model sports a totally new frame design, which now incorporates HYPERDRIVE Design for the first time. HYPERDRIVE is the culmination of multiple key-elements with the goal of produce a reel with more winding-power under load, with a smoother & longer-lasting feel. Sporting Daiwa’s unique & award-winning T-Wing System (TWS) for longer casts and MAGFORCE Z braking for trouble-free performance under any conditions. ALUMINIUM BODY – Lightweight and incredibly strong, aluminium allows strength and weightlessness to be achieved without the cost and corrosion issues of other metals.
TWS – Daiwa’s revolutionary T-Wing System addresses the issue of traditional line guide/level wind systems constricting line flow by delivering a T-shaped line guide that is larger, wider and less restrictive. TWS allows line to exit freely from the spool with minimal line angle, minimal friction and constriction, thereby reducing line noise and backlash, and delivering more accurate and longer casts.

Composite AA Cork and Ultra Hard EVA grips are chiselled to perfectly slipinto the palm of your hand and become an extension of your arm and body – providing an errorless casting action.

Starting with an extra light 6’9 2-6lb spin designed for the finesse fisherman targeting bream and trout. While the light 6’11 4-8lb spin being the ultimate all-round estuary rod targeting bream and flathead, to freshwater impoundment species like Bass and Yellowbelly. Our medium, heavy and extra heavy 7’0” spin models are designed for inshore plastics or throwing slugs at pelagic’s.

Casting options range from the new 7’0” medium heavy 10-17lb suited to big rubbers and vibes. To the 6’0’ medium heavy and heavy models are great for summer Murray Cod through to saltwater Barra and Mangrove Jacks.
