You all probably know about the Miravel reel by now – these are one of Shimano most popular reels since their launch a couple of years ago. They feature the Ci4+ body, cold forged Hagane Gear tech and Silent Drive – all features that are found in models way above this one. The Ruvalus is one of the author’s most favourite rods – they are light and crisp in the hand and they looks amazing. Shimano’s cold-forged Hagane Gear reel technology provides Miravel with unparalleled gear durability. This technology translates into smoother operation due to finer gear tolerances, less vibration and improved longevity.
